Rumor has it, they come alive at night. By day, they sit on our shelves and function as banks for pocket change….and as conversation pieces. All were hand carved and created by my dad :)
My birthday present this year was inspired by the musical “Cats”, it was the first one created in a series that included not only cats, but leopard ladies too. You can see more of his work on his website – http://donsdaylilydivider.com/ …and a close-up of my birthday present, the tabbie.
A handmade surprise from a very sweet friend…an upcycled flower made with layered vintage plates and a glass candle holder topped off with the perfect old brass grannie’s button. (She has lots more started…I saw them in the crafty area of her basement. Maybe she will let me photograph them when she is done and I will share them here :)
Katelyn visited my studio last night. She made a PERFECT model for my upcycled accessories so I snapped a few ;) pictures…
