I will be showing my boho upcycled accessories at “The Gables” in Springfield this weekend…weather permitting, Friday and Saturday. Here are a couple of boho headbands–these two have been sold, but I will have more at the show. (One of a kind, of course :) AND I will have upcycled bags, cuffs and choker/necklaces.
I like the trend in bridesmaid attire, where each attendant wears the style of dress that is flattering to her, colors are the same, but style is different. One-of-kind accessorizing is a perfect fit for this popular trend.
Mulling around a new idea–thinking about adding quirky necklace creations to my collection of bags, headbands and cuffs. Upcycled, that is and created with fabric snippets, vintage buttons and coated striped colored wire. I think I like the light summery fun look of this one.
Whether it be for walking the dog or pushing a stroller, a crossbody style bag comes in handy for carrying your keys and phone/camera…who knows when you might see a photo worthy sight while out for a stroll? It’s not only functional, but cute….we think Max and Molly are too!
My upcycled wearable art pieces can be purchased through my Etsy store, itzachicthing. If you are not familiar with how Etsy works and want to purchase directly from me, we can do it through paypal invoicing. Just send me a note and let me know.
Been spending a bit of time nesting in my studio…giving it a new look. It’s feeling really good in there — now I’m almost ready to get busy creating my upcycled bags for fall but have another project in the works to finish first. Stay tuned…
