I will be showing my boho upcycled accessories at “The Gables” in Springfield this weekend…weather permitting, Friday and Saturday. Here are a couple of boho headbands–these two have been sold, but I will have more at the show. (One of a kind, of course :) AND I will have upcycled bags, cuffs and choker/necklaces.
I like the trend in bridesmaid attire, where each attendant wears the style of dress that is flattering to her, colors are the same, but style is different. One-of-kind accessorizing is a perfect fit for this popular trend.
I’m working on a new series of zippy lipped upcycled bags. They’re painted canvas bags with a very unique look. Functional and one of a kind. Find them, as I get them done, in my etsy shop – itzachicthing.
Along with the daffodils, a few rusty flowers are popping up outside of my studio. My dad is the designer and maker of these wonderful creations. He has quite a grove of them out in his own garden (the second picture)…and new variations are coming up daily! You can see more of his creations @ donsdaylilydivider.com.
Out in my cozy-warm studio…winter is here–have been working on this custom upcycled shoulder bag. It’s made with plastic bags collected by a world traveler. (Not quite done yet…but making progress)
This verymerry, boho, upcycledbag is made with fused recycled plastic bags, vintage beaded belt, & scrap fabric. One-0f-a-kind design. $75. (pictured below: front & backside)
I love to layer color, pattern and texture. I created this bag using a fusing process. After making many bags, all shapes and sizes (you can see some of them at bohochicbag.com), I decided to use the same concept to create pieces for hanging.
