Plastic Bags
April 29, 2014

Here are a couple of bags that were created using the fused plastic bag technique. This is the original process that I used when I opened my etsy shop, itzaChicThing.etsy.com

Over the years, my style evolved to include more recycled fabrics, instead of plastic. Thought I would try it out again, after looking back at some of my photos and thinking that they had a different kind of interesting look. Here are a couple of new creations, in the old style.

A crossbody bag perfect for holding your keys and phone while walking the dog…it’s upcycled, of course…and one of a kind. It’s listed in my etsy shop, itzachicthing, here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/150519919/multi-colored-one-of-a-kind-pouch?ref=pr_shop

Here’s the end result of my first attempt at an idea triggered by a sample from an obsolete wallpaper book. You can find it in my etsy shop, itzaChicthing, here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/130954197/artsy-sleek-clutch-bag-upcycled-mothers?ref=shop_home_active
